We can provide many different types of ceramic insulator. These ceramic tubes can be used in thermocouples, resistance thermometers glass melting level and many other applications. We mainly supply recrystallised alumina (Alsint, Rubalit, AL23, KER 799) and aluminous porcelain (Pythagoras, Dimulit, KER 610).

Recrystallised alumina has a maximum working temperature of 1700°C and aluminous porcelain has a maximum working temperature of 1500°C. There are many different diameters (outer and bore), length of insulator available and number of bores/configurations. Oval tubes are available in some configurations.

Some possible configurations could be:
We can also supply fish spine beads or produce high temperature tails for your temperature sensors.
Insulators are always open both ends, we also stock ceramic tubes as protection sheaths with closed ends. Please see our Ceramic Protection Sheath page for more information.
If you would like to buy some ceramics from us or require us to manufacture thermocouple or resistance thermometer please contact us.
